WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  1. Ensure the Brand integrity of the Company is reflected at all times.
  2. Provide feedback to key partners and lead a walkthroughs, including but not limited to Corporate Visual department and store teams to drive the business through visual and merchandising opportunities.
  3. Create floor maps prior to floorset execution to review with Regional Visual Manager for approval.
  4. Partner with Regional Visual Manager and Store Manager to interpret and execute Corporate Visual communication and plan.
  5. Manage the Visual Merchandising in store and product life cycle from delivery to recall
  6. Update mannequins throughout store and install new window schemes
  7. Maintain care of all equipment in relation to all aspects of floor display
  8. Utilize and manage the use of weekly sale reports to analyze and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales.
  9. Proactive management of zero sellers, execution of recalls and any promotional/markdown activity.
  10. Train, guide and provide direction on visual standards/expectation, product knowledge and development of visual merchandising skills to team.
  11. As a manager, this role will coach and provide feedback on non-management performance to Store Manager.
  12. Ensure dress code standards are adhered to.
  13. Responsible for ensuring in-store environment is up to standards, including music and digital displays.
  14. Communicate and partner with Maintenance dept to resolve and expedite any store issues including but not limited to fixtures and lighting.
  15. Partners closely with Store Manager and Stock Manager to ensure effective execution.
  16. Design think to enhance visual presentation and drive business.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THE ROLE?

1.     Visual Merchandising experience in a retail fashion environment.

2.     Minimum of 2-3 years of retail management/visual experience.

3.     Excellent organization and project management skills

4.     Excellent verbal and written communication. 

5.     Ability to multi-task, time manage and be flexible.

6.     Strong customer service attitude and ability to work with all levels of the organization from field level to executive team.

7.     Ability to react quickly to a changing environment or direction, delivering results effectively and with pace.

8.     Use sound judgment and make key decisions when needed. Decisions must be commercial and visually sound.

9.     Comfortable presenting to large groups, tailoring messages to different audiences and effectively on subject matter.

10.   Execute directives and maintain visual excellence in-store with pace and efficiency.

11.   Night, overnight and weekend work required at times.
