WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The Branch Merchandising team is the main link between the Retail teams and Retail Merchandising. The main role is to potentialise sales in each location using store budgets and knowledge of store profiles and needs so that stock packages are tailored accordingly whilst providing valuable feedback to the Retail Merch teams for future range buys.

 

  • Works with the Merchandisers to plan sales densities, stock targets and grading. 
  • Supports the allocators in the production of monthly allocation plans and presents to the Merchandisers.
  • Work closely with Retail and Digital teams to manage expectations of stock levels
  • Works with the Merchandisers to plan customised stock packages
  • Guides the allocators, providing support and direction
  • Produce Monday trade reporting and ad hoc analysis to provide suggestions to stock packages to maximise sales
  • Managing any stores under/over their capacity
  • Proposes transfers of stock to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time to drive the highest full price sell through  
  • Responsible for building new store opening packages
  • Undertaking branch visits to review markets and stock packages

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THE ROLE?

  • Previous experience as Senior Allocator or Assistant Merchandiser preferred. 
  • A self starter who looks for process improvements and is able to implement them with minimal support.
  • Strong communication skills  and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Organisational and timekeeping skills to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment 
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the brand
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong IT skills in particular Excel
