    You will be responsible for the merchandising function across over a varied store portfolios in Asia Retail, Outlet and Travel Retail markets, developing profiling to make sure budgets and KPIs are exceeded.  Applying your entrepreneurial spirit you will take full ownership of your department bringing fresh ideas to the table whilst developing and pushing your team forward.  You will have tight control over the management of stock and have a strong background in working with WSSIs, sale forecasting and BTA’s to over deliver against the targeted sell through and EBITDA.


    You will have an affinity for product and a strong commercial awareness to ensure we deliver the strongest range possible by working closely with the Product Merchandising and retail teams.




    • Deliver sales and profitability of portfolio of stores within five Asia regions by managing and optimising the categories through effective planning and trading.
    • Planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures to management team.
    • Proactive and regular analysis of department performance to maximise commercial opportunities.
    • Ownership of allocation planning for all Asia Retail and Travel Retail stores to ensure each store receives the correct stock package for their market.
    • Monthly sales forecast analysis to determine IAQs by store and provide feedback for future buys.
    • Lead weekly stock meetings with Asia regional teams; presenting stock strategies and challenging teams on current stock package by store to optimise sales.
    • Monitor the execution of allocation plans by region and follow up with retail teams.
    • Support retail teams to manage consolidations to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time to drive the highest full price sell through and maximise gross margin.
    • Ownership of Travel Retail planning and stock management in line with monthly budgets.
    • Build new store stock packages with review of current stocks and regional selling trends, ensuring assortment is commercial and in line with brand vision.
    • Through strategic planning and trading of the department manage the intake and OTB to deliver the inventory targets for the department and the brand.
    • Category ownership within quarterly buys: analysing sales, product selection, sales/ST% forecasting and buy planning in line with OTB. Presenting results to senior team for sign off.
    • Work in conjunction with the Product Merchandising team to ensure the brand deliveries a commercial assortment tailored to each region.
    • Develop and manage cross functional relationships; communicating strategies as necessary.
    • Build relationships with regional teams and support with various issues, e.g. capacity, pricing, stock levels, etc.
    • Develop current systems and processes that are in place and be instrumental in implementing best practices.
    • Lead, manage and develop the junior Retail Merchandising team.



    • Proven track record of driving a department through creative thinking as a Senior Merchandiser.
    • Strong understanding of the brand and thorough knowledge of Asia market, trends and shopping habits.
    • Extensive experience working in the fashion retail industry dealing with multiple products categories with exposure to Asia Retail and Travel Retail markets.
    • Experience managing performance and stocks on digital platform and digital concessions.
    • Able to demonstrate a commercial aptitude and pragmatic approach to working.
    • Excellent organisational skills, able to use initiative, and be agile in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
    • Advanced Excel skills with strong ability to manipulate data and produce reports accurately and efficiently at ease.
    • Global HQ experience, able to understand and manage priorities of retail and head office.
    • Able to communicate at all levels within the brand in a professional way.
    • Speaking, reading and writing proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese languages.
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills whilst able to prioritise workload accordingly.
    • A can do and positive attitude.
    • Ability to lead, manage and develop a team.
