  • WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    The SEO Manager will own the SEO channel by developing and delivering the SEO strategy that will drive the results required to achieve the channel’s goals and objectives. As an integral part of the digital marketing team, you will be tasked with building our current organic SEO strategy from the ground up while working closely with the digital marketing team and the digital team at AllSaints


    Reporting to business and evaluating is a key part of the role, this includes weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on activities and results against core KPI’s.

     

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    • Full ownership of the SEO channel including strategy development and budget ownership of our primary domains in Europe and North America, additional support will need to be given to our Asian domains as well
    • Management of all aspects of SEO including but not limited to keyword research, link building, analysis and website auditing from a content and technical perspective
    • Full ownership of local marketing strategy specifically around services such as Google MyBusiness and Bing Places
    • Working with internal stakeholders to ensure SEO campaigns are reported on effectively and results are communicated to relevant stakeholders within Digital Marketing and eCommerce teams as well as the business as a whole
    • Developing close relationships with eCommerce, PR, IT and digital marketing stakeholders
    • Developing and managing external consultant and agency relationships as required
    • Working with the content and social teams to ensure SEO considerations are being taken into account and maximised
    • Working closely with the Performance Marketing Manager to understand the relationship between SEO and PPC and advise on the best strategy for driving incremental search traffic and revenue
    • Working closely with the eCommerce product teams to ensure that the onsite and offsite strategy is aligned to core product pushes
    • Key involvement in the internal projects to update the search and merchandising platform providing recommendations to optimise natural search performance
    • Ensuring the business is current with SERP updates by establishing and sharing a full understanding of SERP changes and how to take adapt strategy
    • Be an SEO champion by passionately presenting to internal stakeholders on all areas of SEO. Educating the business to improve overall SEO performance

    WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THE ROLE?

    • Experience of devising and overseeing successful outreach campaigns
    • Prior SEO experience essential – client or agency side
    • Prior management experience essential – client or agency side
    • Previous experience working on SEO for fashion retailer desirable
    • Experienced user of SEO Tools – Google Search Console, Link Building (e.g. Majestic SEO/Open Explorer) Crawler Software (e.g. Screaming Frog and Deepcrawl). Search Metrics, BrightEdge, Search Engine Business Listings (e.g. Google My Business and Bing Places)
    • A deep understanding of Google Analytics and Google Analytics API for Google Spreadsheets
    • Keen interest in fashion
    • A cross functional collaborator, with experience building collaborative relationships
    • Excellent stakeholder influencing, management, and communication skills
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Strong project management - ability to drive small scale projects from concept to realisation
    • Strong prioritisation skills with strong attention to detail and excellent
    • Ideally a degree in Computer Science or related area
